Here's an idea....

How many times have you been using an application when an incoming call arrives and disrupts what you are doing?   If this has happened to you, then you know how frustrating it is to get back to that application where you left off before the call came in.  Of course, you can ignore the call, but then the Treo still leaves you at the phone screen, not in the app you were using, and it is a pain to get back to that app.

What I suggest is an enhancement or new app that will allow you to control this situation without disconnecting you from your app when a call comes in, by presenting a "pop up" incoming call menu that does not take you out of your application.  You would simply press the red button to ignore or the green button to take the call, and as soon as you do, the pop-up disappears and you are returned to the app you were using while you can converse with the caller.

Would anyone else find this useful?

While Phone Technician keeps the current screen magnificently via its 'Stay Put' feature, it won't let me open another application such as calendar...on my 700p

anyone else has that pb?

I have and love both CallFilter and ProfileCare, and it was my impression that having Phone Technician would merely be redundant.  But now that I've installed it, man it does so much more than what I thought it did....including the feature I posted about.  And to think it was right here all the time.

Kudos and another $15 registered app to Rob!

Yes, same problem!  While on a call I can't bring up the calendar, which I miss.  Used to be able to do it and I had thought it was something the update had done.

Hey ConfusedVorlon,
You see the 'Stay Put' feature needs a fix to work properly on the 700p...

Please tell us if you are going to look into this...

Thanks in advance  Wink

I'm not sure what is up here. Does it switch if you press calendar twice??

I can't get back to the Phone screen either...but I have to say that I have reporgrammed my phone key to I8's Voice-launch and the green key to get to the phone app.   In this case, pressing the green key doesn't return to the phone screen, either.  I think this is the same problem as the Calendar key.

But...I did find a way to do either.  Press the home key THEN the calendar or green key and it will suddenly work.  So it seems we have found a little bug here.
