I love my Pearl!

I've been using zLauncher forever but I thought I'd try out I8.  So far so good.  My Treo seems faster and it's easier to hide apps with I8 BUT the recent apps list does not show up when I press and hold the home key outside of I8.  I works fine from within but I'm already in my launcher so it's not really helpful.  This worked with zLauncher.  Any chance of fixing this?

I also have been curious as to whether this is something that might be fixed at some point possibly for the next beta.  Currently I use the favorites feature in I8 to bypass the need to use the recent apps list.  I included the 8-10 most frequently used apps as favorites and periodically check to see if I need to make changes to this list.  I find this only a fraction slower than using the recent apps list.

I have actually tried to sort this, but without much success.
It does take two presses, but you can access the same press/hold functionality once you are in Initiate

Me-too!

It would be nice to have the  press and hold home key for recent application list with initiate.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this only works while in Initiate if you do not have the Home key cycle views. If the Home key cycles views the press/hold still does not allow the recent app list to generate. I made the decision to map initiate power user view to email key and subsequent presses to change views.

This frees up the Home key for the recent press/hold app list.
