Hi,
I downloaded this and have sent an SMS through it. Am waiting for a response whether the recepient received it or not . A very good application though I have 2 requests: 1. Can you mention that this application shows up only in prefs panel(not in applications) and 2. Can you add the option of adding the sms sent to the sent folder of the original sms aplication on the treo 680.

Lots of enhancements are possible if there is sufficient interest (among the community) in TreoMsgr... But for now, the aim is to get TreoMsgr working reliably, without resets and freezes.

Hi GreenHex, I am interested in this and would like to purchase it once its out. But there are a few issues:
1. The SMS i sent at 10:50am was received by the other person at 10pm, though the time stamp on it was morning 10:50. Can that delay be rectified.
The rest of the points I have already mentioned above. If I think of something shall let you know. But overall I really like the concept of this application and am sure others shall like it too.

Hi aqua...

I'm sure you're aware of the timestamp issue in Treo's with SMSs. This is discussed so many times in these forums. But your problem is not this.

Also, SMS delivery is neither guaranteed nor reliable. It depends so much on the network.

I'll put it up for sale shortly. Till that time you can use the trial period and report back in case of problems.

The biggest criticism about TreoMsgr is that it is too complex to operate. I (as a developer) don't think so, but I have begun to appreciate this problem, from comments from various users. So the first thing to do is to make a UI to generate the Messsage in Tasks, without so much messing around. But then, there should be some buyers at least to justify further development.

And you have had given some excellent suggestions for enhancements over at T|C. Still more ideas are coming from others.

And I suppose, I am entitled to some "trade" secrets  ... But my dream is to make the ultimate scheduler, to schedule everything that happens on the device. Profiles (by Milan Votava) has this, but unfortunately, very few developers/ users take advantage of this particular feature.

That's right. That's why I expect a future version of TreoMsgr to be better than SMS Scheduler

Overall, it is much simpler and easier to operate. There are some
new UI things that I tried in the table display... How do you all like it?

Unlike v1.x, this is a normal application visible in the Treo Launcher.

I've not posted the instructions, but I'll do it later.

Hi, At the scheduled time unless u tick yes when the alarm rings, the sms doesnot get send. Is there a workaround for this, so that the sms is sent automatically at the scheduled time. Thanks and Regards, Tripti.
