Glad to hear it was a one-time glitch. I'll look into it, but it's most likely this was a problem in the old version, rather than the new one. When the installer runs, it first attempts to disable the old copy before replacing it with the new one. The bug may have been triggered when the old copy was removed. I would not expect it to come back, but if it does, PM me!

Not sure if that's the case since I did delete the old version before installing the new one. Anyhoo, so far so good, and an issue I had with the font size of KGt+ while in Splashdata apps (things like the digital time) would show up really small and only while I was in Splash Data apps in the old version is gone! Now there's a funny thing, there have been more downloads of this new version today so far,... than the total downloads of the Toysoft version since it was released  Grin

I wonder why  Cool

My data arrows stay green regardless. Even if there is no current data activity.

The data arrow are either On, when a data communication has been setup or Off. They will not 'flicker' when there is data actually going trough.....

Right! They're absent when the network doesn't privide data services at all, gray when it does but you're not connected in data mode, and green when you're connected. Basically, the same functionality as in the system radio signal gadget, though it takes a slightly different approach. In addition to adding numeric signal status and now, roaming indication.

Fabulous software! Thanks very much tmt.

I have found what I think might be a bug, though, or perhaps a strange interaction with my launcher, Zlauncher. Anyone else running Zlauncher, please try this:
  • Make sure to set KeyGuardTime+ background to "White".
  • Go to the launcher (Zlauncher) main screen.
  • Press Option-Power to manually invoke keyguard.
  • Wait till the power goes off.
  • Turn the power back on and press "Select" to cancel keyguard.

What you should see at this point is a Zlauncher screen in which many of the screen elements remain whited out.

This doesn't happen normally, just when you manually invoke keyguard with the Option-Power key sequence.

Re the graphics, my plan has been to wait until the update is released and stable before tackling them. I haven't heard from Robot lately, hopefully he's still interested in helping me on that. My plan is to add a skinning capability which will allow replacing the graphics and some of the fonts.

Re cradle mode, that's also on hold but I hope to add it soon. In the meantime, you can easily use an app such as STOIC (STay On In Cradle) which is available here, and then set KGT+ to pop up "after pressing" a key. Voila, instant cradle clock.

I will look into this, thanks. Only when the KGT+ background is set to White?

One other question - does ZLauncher have its own keyguard, or is this with the regular system version?

Yep, that one was not obvious, but it's fixed in this version. I wish I knew more oabout what the SpashData apps were doing to cause this. They are very difficult to interoperate with. Well, used to be!

BTW, One thing I forgot TMT... Great software... Even without the graphics and cradle on option...
Just forgot to mention that part... ;-) Keep up the great work.

Just checked with the "Gray" background and the issue is still there. ZLauncher doesn't have its own keyguard function, so this is the regular system version.

One small suggestion... Put a small KeyguardTime+ icon somewhere on the pop-up screen. When it gets pressed, it launches the main program. This would make it easy to reconfigure the program, launching the setup program right from the pop-up screen!

Thanks again, tmt.

Works ok.
Two problems:
1. Without show the hardware, memory information won't show either. I don't want to show the hardware information, but I like the memory and cache stuff, I can do that in the old version.

2. Holding delay becomes longer. I need press about twice longer time to trigger the KGT+ now.

Congrats on this new release!  My only gripe is that I cannot consistenly use the "or while holding" Center button option.  Most of the time I end up getting the alerts manager dialog.  I didnt have this problem with the older build you previously released. Changing the buttons to side or power didnt fix the "or while holding" bug.
