Finally gave up on DBP. Depending on the version, sound would not work on incoming call. Tested it many times to make sure it was DBP and it is the problem. I have (had) the latest version. May go back to the earlier version if I can find it. Too frustrating missing calls. Definitely a bug.

I cant get DBP up without going to the menu and clicking it to start. Pushing the Phone button just pulls down my recent call list. I checked all the damn boxes but its not working. Should i just delete it and not use it?

Try unchecking all the damn boxes, and just check the ones in the General preferences that say "Launch when I press the Phone Button," "Launch when I press the Phone Button while in the default Phone Application," and "Come back after phone call."

The app works flawlessly AND wonderfully for me.

That's good for you. Ever since the new version I have had the sound problem. Before that I had some unexpected crashes and reboots with the version before. I think that the original version was best and that there is too much messing around with perfecting the app. Just lave it alone. It was great, now it's a risk.

DBP doesn't interface with sounds at all, so your problem is coming from somewhere else.

Please Someone explain to me why you keep getting a server returned error message everytime you try to download dialbyphoto icons. It will give you a few  icons maybe 12 or so but will not let you download rich and lavish, business, ect. I know there is a link or something somewhere to get these other icons. Unless dialbyphoto is actually trying to sell them, and is only giving you a few for free? Someone Please help. Thanks, Chehalis     K.C.M.O.

They seem to download from the main page just fine for me. To note, development on DialByPhoto has LONG been discontinued - it was essentially replaced by UltimatePhone, and even that has had no development for years.
