I've purchased a few books from Ereader that I'm reading on my palm.  I tried to download one of the books directly to my husband's blackberry and it stated that it wouldn't be able to read it.  When I open the Ereader program there are no books listed.

He did have a software problem with the blackberry that he apparently got sorted out this morning.  I'm wondering if the blackberry needs the book in a different format than the palm (yes I know it's a different operating system but I was thinking that would be taken care of by using the appropriate version of Ereader) or was it likely because of other software issues he was having?

AFAIK, there is only one file format for Ereader books (PDB).  I use Ereader on my Centro and also have downloaded the Windows version for my XP PC's at home.  I can use the exact same book files on the Centro and the PC's.

On the Centro, the books have to be in very specific locations in internal memory or the expansion card.  My first guess is that the book is in the wrong place on the Blackberry (there should be  help on the website for this).  Second guess would be uninstall and reinstall the software on the Blackberry

That's what I was thinking too, Deibelsan. I also have the Windows version on the laptop and it uses the same files.  The website says to save it under the file "ereader"; I haven't checked yet to see if it automatically made that file.  I'll try reinstalling it and try again.  I'll report back.

Finally got my hands on hubby's Blackberry today.  Turns out the book hadn't been saved in the Ereader file.  Once I moved it there it worked just fine.  Thanks for the help!  Smiley
