i also have a question. i'd love to have a short antenna on my 700p too. currently i'm using a seidio super slim crystal case and i was wondering if installing a short antenna would make it hard for me to close the case completely. i like using the case and rather not have a short antenna without a case. anyone have an idea if installing a short antenna would cause problems with my seidio case?

The blue one is going to be the closest match. The gray will be too light and the black is obviously, black. |

It shouldn't. Think of it as cutting the original antenna at the base. Will that prevent the case from closing? |

I'm one of those who likes the antenna, but I've always wanted one that blinks/flashes colors when the phone rings.
Time to get back to your drawing board and see what you can do. Help would be appreciated, at least by me.

sorry, slightly off topic, but did you ever have a nokia phone with the special colored flashing rings on the antenna?! those were the hot accessories in high school, haha. |

It's Tuesday (yesterday was a holiday), I ordered 2 on Friday and they were delivered this morning. Took about 30 sec to install, the hardest part was getting the label out. Perfect fit.
The change in appearance is tremendous, between this and upgrading to ROM to use 8gb SDHC card, I think I might just keep my 650 for a while longer, I'm in luv all over again. Fits my pocket great now.
