Are you trying to download the .prc or the .zip? It won't accept the .zip if you haven't got an unzipper app on your Treo.

Well, I would probably buy this if:
1. I could ever get the weather to update at all
2. I had an account ID, on my about screen it says N/A

I figured I owed everyone a follow up on this. The developer contacted me rather quickly. But while I was waiting for his reply I tried something.
I plugged in a U.S. proxy server in the network settings and BAM, it worked. Even have an account ID.
Nice piece of software.

I just wanted to mention that TreoAlarm successfully moved to a new server. This should significantly improve response time for weather forecast updates: average processing time on old server was about 1 minute, on new server it is less than 5 seconds.
Also, many problems related to accessing forecasts for Western US should now be resolved.

It's a great program. Really enhances the Treo. Price is a bit steep.

It's shareware with an $18.50 registration fee if you like it and decide you want to keep it. You get a year of free e-mail support and free upgrades with your registration (I think it's free lifetime upgrades, but not sure).

There is a pre-release of TreoAlarm 1.10. Screenshots and downloads are available at http://palmsphere.com/software/3736/TreoAlarmPlease note: There were many internal changes and unfortunately alarm and weather settings will be lost if you upgrade from any previous version. This version is not an official release as it needs more testing on various Treo models. Changes in 1.10 include: - support for multiple weather icon sets. - new "Blue" weather icon set for Treo 650. - better support for Treo 650 navigation buttons in message and confirmation boxes. - better support for Treo keyguard.

roustk, Thought to give you some beta testing feedback I downloaded the PRC v1.10 from your website (to my Treo 600 CDMA) and I am getting a resets: 1) everytime that I try to update 2) By browsing around the options and setups in the menu. Note that I do not have a license for it so I do not know if I needed it. Thought the trial period should be fine for helping you with the beta testing. Sorry couldn't do more. Graphics and icons look nicer than before. Regards, FrankTX

FrankTX, Thank you for the feedback. These problems should be now fixed in 1.12: http://palmsphere.com/software/3736/TreoAlarm
