My brother, who hates to part with a dollar and therefore refused to fork over $20 for Yahoo premium so he could use Versamail, has been happily emailing away using Sprint Mobile email. He says it's a bit clunkier than my Chatter, but does the job more smoothly than going out on the browser. He's happy.
And he's now checking his email regularly, so I'm happy.

Not sure what kind of app or utility I need but :-?boy do I need HELP! I recently got an AT&T palm centro. I love it,with one exception- i don"t know how to view windows media content on my emails. Someone said to get the core media player but I didn't see any plugins for wma or wmv files. Can someone please help. Oh<and do the battery normally drop down to under 50% within only 12 to 15 hrs? I'm not constantly on it and can't understand why it drops so low. could I have a bad battery? Any info would really be appreciated.Thanks

to view windows media content, you will need kinoma 4EX. the battery could be faulty or old

It is possible to run a battery down that quickly depending on how your device is setup and how strong the signal it is receiving is. Extend battery life by;
-turning off bluetooth and Infra Red receive
-dimming screen
-reduce data usage (e.g. extend gap between each email sync)

centro's battery is small and mine only lasts at the longest with low battery usage and conservative battery management a little over 24 hours at most. 12-15 isn't that bad

All you need fir that is Palm Desktop, shoulda came with your device, you can also download it from Palm's site. |
