It's several files, but a little more than 1.5MB is my guesstimate.

You can now get it here: http://mytreo.net/downloads/details-838.html?Opera_Mini

And you can get the Java VM here: http://www.palm.com/us/support/jvm/download.html

EDIT: Robin had a better link to the Java VM.  Smiley

If you go to this page using Blazer, you can choose between two versions of Opera Mini to download:

My problem lies in the Java. I installed J9JavaVMMidp20.prc and JavaVMCheck_enUS.prc. I don't see any new app!  Huh?

Hmm, that seems like a lot of RAM wasted for a browser...I'm not convinced to waste 2MBs... Tongue

anyone getting crashes with fieldplus as the culprit? (on a #*377)

also Opera doesn't seem to show in Initiate or the list of exclusions in fieldplus, it only shows in 'Applications' (the default launcher).

thoughts anyone?

Opera Mini shows in ZLauncher.

I do not use fieldplus. Do you get this crash with other Java applets?

Opera Mini runs default in norwegian  Shocked but you can change that to english in the "verktøy" menu under "instillinger" - change "sprÃ¥k" to English.

I can't seem to change the language! Please help! I really want to try this out.......
Thanks!

can I have a scrollwheel and one touch voice memo?

I have to use the Package Installer in order to be able to load Java and the apps successfully

...the additional step to save the language change is to select Lagre in the bottom left corner

Yes it's much! But I've heard much praise for Opera's small screen rendering technique, so I'll give it a test run. So far I'm very happy - large online newspapers reduced to a 19KB download is great for my GPRS bill.  Grin
