Opera Mini shows in ZLauncher.

I do not use fieldplus. Do you get this crash with other Java applets?

Don't get it with Kmaps, and Kmaps shows up in Initiate also.....hmm, strange, now I'm getting errors on kmaps, but no crashes......looks like a reinstall of Java if you ask me. Any tips on which files for Java (scrap that, I'll just read a bit higher up! Smiley )

thanks

edit - ooooh, getting lots of resets now with java.....all fieldplus related, better get on and sort it out

Christine600, how did you get it to be in English? The date says Onsdag, 10.august.  Huh?

It's a secret mission to make norwegian a world language.  lmao
But seriously:

Opera Mini runs default in norwegian  Shocked  but you can change that to english in the "verktøy" menu under "instillinger" - change "språk" to English, and click on "Lagre" to save your settings.

Anyone noticed while hitting the down button once, the application scrolls twice?

BTW for Treo 650s

Make sure you go into system preference->IBM Java VM
check the setting "use high resolution coordinates"

I'm very curious to see a screenshot of Opera Mini when "use high resolution coordinates" is enabled.

Smiley

This looks like a breakthrough to my disconnecting fron UUNet problem! However, you cannot set Opera Mini as default browser... furious

It sure is pretty but it's not terribly fast. The hi res setting in the java machine makes it gorgeous.

the 5way is sketchy and the double down on one click is annoying, but it is gorgeous. Did I say that already?

Thanks, christine.

The font is still huge, though. Smiley

How is performance (and does it work, at all) when "Smooth font" is enabled in the
Opera Mini settings? That font should look very nice on that screen, but it has
performance issues on some devices.

But I'm so happy that Opera finally works on my 650! dance drink grouphug

Do not try! On my 650 Opera ran veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerry slow with font smoothing.  Undecided

I too am getting Kmaps errors when I try to enter a city. Opera Mini is excellent especially at the high res mode. The scroll bar could be made a little bit bigger but hopefully we'll see skins soon. I'm not even sure if they support skins yet though, one can hope. The processing bar looks kinda odd when your going from page to page, It seems to flash a few times then display the page. So far it seems to display the whole page at once rather than loading it bit by bit like Blazer. This does a world of good because in Blazer I found myself trying to click stuff before it was done loading only to find myself hitting an ad that had taken it's place because it was still loading. I hope someone figures something to get Kmaps and Opera to play nice. I can't let go of Kmaps Sad

Also you may want to notify the Mytreo download guy about putting some text on the download page about how to get it into English. It's gonna save you a lot of questions and answers on this thread. Wink

Edit: A temporary fix for having both apps on the Treo is using FileZ to move the Opera prc to your SD card and then move it back when you need it. It's a hassle but it works. Well sort of, when you have the opera prc on the memory card and your in the main palm interface, when you go to browse the card, when the opera mini icon comes into sight be prepared for an instant reset. Just fyi, adios
