$179.90 Cingular treo650 deal???
treo_babe:
Is this deal legit?
Has anyone tried it?
Are the rebates actually worth something?
My local phone guy they may be kinda hollow!
I am interested and yet hesitant!
Pls enlighten.
MrByte:
Legal: Yes, or it wouldn't be offered here. Rebates: I advise you to read what each rebate exactly is and the terms associated with each.
Remember this offer is for new customers only and is bound to a 2 year contract.
Tadd:
mytreo.net/store is an authorized dealer of palmOne products, which is a difficult designation to get. Treos with service are fulfilled by our partner InPhonic, a public company that is the largest online retailer of mobile phone service on net. Major companies like RadioShack fulfill through InPhonic. So despite the extremely low prices here, you can count on exceptional customer service.
Please do note that we only offer service to NEW Cingular/Sprint/Verizon customers. If you have service with the phone company here, you should call them directly.

Tadd,
Thanks for your reply.
I am glad that this site has some credibility with Palmone.
Why are the rebates ($50 & $150) written in such a "difficult to conform" manner?
If I want to "port" my existing verizon cell # to a new Cingular service, do I still qualify?
Can I still do it through this site?
Will there be a phone# for cust support?
Thanks

Because the Treo samrtphones are discounted so substantially, we ionly make money if you stay a customer of the phone company you sign up with for a while. If you cancel your service we don't receive our fee from Cingular/Sprint/Verizon and actually lose a substantial amount of money on the sale. So the rebates are structured in a way to put money into our customers hands with the least risk of a chargeback to mytreo.net/store. Because the rebates are structured by InPhonic, they are identical to the rebates you see from retailers all over the internet, including RadioShack.
You can absolutely port a Verizon number to Cingular or viceversa on mytreo.net store and qualify for the purchase. Go for it!
After sales customer service is handled by Inphonic. On the "contact us" page in mytreo.net/store we list the phone numbers. However, you will need your 9 digit authorization code (provided to youu in the email receipt for your purchase) in order to get through to them.
God luck with your purchase and thanks a lot for your interest in mytreo.net/store. :)
