Yeah what ever happened to this? Anyways heres my results for my Ridata 1GB Pro 150x I picked up for $74 a couple months ago (Treo 650) from mwave.com. I ran both tests quite a few times just to make sure they wernt flukes.

I know it's a few months late for this reply, but I had EXACTLY the same results as you wtih my new Sandisk Ultra II 1GB "Plus" (with USB thingy that pops down).  I can't understand why the performance degenerates so rapidly after each test!?

Any other cards do this when you run VFSMark several consecutive times?

I find that after I reformat the card again, the same cycle starts over.

Here is an interesting finding... hopefully my last bit of creative procrastination for the day, I do have a lot of other things to do...  Smiley

I did not like my VFSMark results, so...

I took my Sandisk Ultra II 1G SD card and I formatted it. First time I ran VFSMark, File Create went up to close to 600%, and VFSMark ended up at 480. I ran the test again immediately, and File Create went down to 92% VFSMark to 380. After that the results for File Create and File Delete are pretty consistent at 92/44 and VFSMark 380-390

Likewise, if I use CardSpeed, after formatting I can test my card up to 4 times and it reports Wrt32bit at 222, after the 4th time it goes down to 110

What is going on???????

Manufacture? yeah it's also Unknown for almost every SD card i've ever had.

there was only 1 that showed up properly and it said Palm LOL  laugh

seems like nobody cares to fill in that information in the SD card, except Palm and very other SD card devices manufacture.  laugh

When i was doing VFS test on my SD card, i noticed the write speed is slow. Really slow actually.  Hence i did the test 2 more times.  I find it weird Huh?.

Anyhow...

I'll used cardspeed later on and post the info after work.

So here are my results:

*formated 2 GB Kingmax 150X in FAT 16 using card info*

Cardspeed 1.2
-----------------------------------

Time: 0.50 seconds
Wrt32bit:  1511 bytes/sec
Wrt8kb:  1008246 bytes/sec
Read8kb:  2621440 bytes/sec

Im assuming this is an excellent speed.
