I only get strange rainbow colors instead of a picture of what the camera sees....
That's strange... When you move your Treo, does your image change? Can you notice edges that can be linked to the real picture you should see? If so, it might be a byte order problem: please let me know your hardware type and firmware version to detect and fix this... Cheers, Jean-Francois. |

You mean: image is all the same color changing continuously, or with strange rainbow designs (that won't change a lot if you don't move)?

I've disabled it for the moment due to the problem reported by mani_lx... Update: Barcode/13 is back online. If you have Manfred's issue it won't hurt (and I'm trying to figure out why it is happening), and if your more lucky it will work as a charm...

I use Treo600 Fw.0.305
When I Confirm ! (Right key). and I can see result BOX of Barcode value. in a 1 second Program is close. I don't understand

How launch by any application ?
An example will be easier to understand: open you Memo application, then press the quickstart button. Capture your barcode and confirm it: you're now back to the Memo application. Create a new Memo and use "Paste" option from the Edit menu, and your barcode is in your new memo. If an developer wants to integrate native Barcode/13 calls, this could be done automatically by this application (and you won't have to open Edit menu and select Paste anymore). Jean-Francois. |

New release has been uploaded (0.8.5)People who have the rainbow issue, could you try this new release and reset your Treo to clean-up the camera settings? (removing the battery). It seems to fix the problem on Manfred's Treo, hope other could confirm this. Jean-Francois. |

Ok, let's make another try with 0.8.6. This is the exact release that was working for mani_lx. I keep my fingers crossed... Please don't forget to reset your Treo, to be sure camera's setting are fine |
