In Lightwav, if you have say 15 people with all the same ring, is there a way to change all 15 to another ring at once or do you have to do it one at a time?

Do they have the same ring because you set it in categories or because you gave them each the same individual tone? If they are all in the same category, you only need to reset the category ring. If each is set individually to that ring...no.

Thanks Alli.... I don't have categories set, I set each person with the ring. Perhaps that could be a added feature in upcoming versions!

Maybe this is a stupid question, but why would you set a "custom" ringer for more than 1 person to be the same? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose?

Me being a noob I guess I think the main reason and I am sure I am doing this the hard way. Of course, the simple solution is to just set the "known caller & unknown caller" rings. My "custom" rings are the same ringtone as I have for my known callers. What I do have is the individual pictures for each caller ID photo. I guess I don't have to assign them rings if I have the known caller set for what I want, correct?

No, I think you're right, althought it's something we might want to check with Danny about. I don't believe you can just set a caller ID photo without assigning a ring tone of some sorts. I'll check with him now and have him address it here in the thread.

here is way. just edit the contact ringers and select MIDI ringtone and select "no sound" or "silent" but your phone wont ring. i will try to fix this.

Thanks for the help! Kudos going out.
I think Alli, you and I discussed this in a different thread. I don't have any "unique" rings to signify different callers. I just prefer (right now), one ringtone for everyone. However, I have 15 people in Lightwav and 15 different photos.
Since I changed my ringtone (Pirates of the Caribbean Theme from movie - not ride), I need to change each person in Lightwav.
No big deal at all for me to change 15 one at a time, I was just wondering if the list grew to 100 or even larger.

Danny's gonna do a revision so that you can assign a photo without setting a ringtone, then you won't have to worry about it.

You could always just assign the photos in the Favorites for the Phone app, and then just use Know and Unknown callers for the ringtones, that is how I do it. Of course all the photos have to have to in RAM for FAvorites, I believe Lightwav does allow you to use photos on an SD card.

LightWav allows you to use pics from the sd card and also shows them full screen when a call comes in.

I'd have to say, Lightwav is well worth the registration fee for what you get. Pics of the wife looks better full screen with that.
