I will start by saying MAILBLOCKS seems to work great with the "IDLE" command.  PUSH EMAIL ROCKS!

In fact, it works so good for me, I can ditch my crappy Verizon Wireless Sync 2.0 now.

Gonna try it out a few more days, but its looking like Marc has my $25 for sure!

PS. they just got bought out by AOL, so they aren't providing free accounts at this time... Sad

I'm also using Mailblocks and it works great. Extremely fast IMAP with Chatter.

I am using the dovecot server on my Linux box, and it seems to work OK.

There are some minor problems which I will report in another thread (which I don't think is related to the server.)

Great, please let me know about any problems you find.  I think some other testers are using Dovecot as well.

I'm using the 'standard' imaps server that comes with RedHat 9 without difficulty. UW version I believe... at least that's what's in the 'free fork' copyright notice in the docs.

I can verify that it works properly with UW-IMAP 2003 and 2004 versions.  There is an issue if the home folder has a ton of files/directories in it.

I love several features on myTreo!

Here's the funny part: It wasn't the IMAP I needed help with. My corporate (university) IMAP account worked as soon as I had all the info in the boxes. IT was the smtp server I couldn't get to work at either of the two places I have accounts: sprintpcs and earthlink, and earthlink worked with snapper...but not with chatter. I had to get a fastmail account and voila, it was up and running just as fast as the incoming IMAP did once I used that account. I am absolutely dumbfounded...but satisfied...the program is THE BOMB!!!

Just tested 1.0b2 with both my Exchange 2003 (small biz version if relevant) and with my Apple .mac account (mail.mac.com).  Both seem to connect and are working well...

Thanks Marc for a great app!

Trying to get Lotus Notes 6.x with secure IMAP working with no luck. I'm able to connect using Snappermail and Outlook but with Chatter 1.0b5 I'm having no luck even if I enable 'Trust Certificate' along with SSL. Any suggestions?
