Win-Hand allows you to be virtually next to a computer even if you are thousands of miles away.
You can control your Windows computer in your Hand. Mouse and keyboard actions are transmitted to your desktop and simulated there. The resulting display is highly compressed and sent back to you Palm.
Win-Hand was designed based on a 8Kbps phone modem. A lot of modems are 32K or 56K bps. which makes Win-Hand really pleasant to use.

yulianto: The end result is quite functional for those that need this sort of thing, but the risk is quite overwhelming. Technically, anyone with access to the winhand server can monitor and control my computer with their 'firewall breaker' technology.

snypa23: Upon initial download and installation the program seem to be flawless. However, with a password assigned to this application and running behind my systems screensaver, I encountered a conflict in my Sys32.DLL and other program files. Eventually had to totally restore my computer, which made me loose a lot of info not backed up. Maybe without the password assignment it may suite my needs, but at this point...afraid to make a second pass.
oneilltg1: On the surface this application is very attractive. I travel for work and would really appreciate having the capability thatthis application offers.
HOWEVER, the afore menetioned security concerns are valid and represent a significat barrier to my use of this application.
In the long run, the capability offered by this application could prove to be a solid business opportunity. Provided that the service could ensure that my data is secure.
mario: I agree with the last review. It's a great program and very useful, but you are left wondering how safe is your computer. Despite the author's assurances, I feel that your computer is left vulnerable to whoever controls the main server. Too bad.

There is NO indication who these people are and they are asking you to open a secure tunnel to them through your firewall...
The web site doesn't say who they are, or how they make their money, and they are giving away the software.
