Where Am I (WAI) is a smart Google Maps Mobile companion tool for Palm OS. If you ever wanted to bind your bluetooth GPS receiver with Google Maps, then this tool is for you.
Please note that the application expects to connect to a bluetooth GPS receiver paired to your Treo. The application will not work without one!

centrofan: Aug 8, 2008 I donated to get full functionality, sent 3 e-mail's and no reply with unlock key. Author Marcin Orlowski is unresponsive. Cannot reply to the WordPress.org e-mail that confirmed registration to his blog website because it's in Poland and my ISP blocks mail to that country. For some obvious reason? I agree with STBXXL posting, the author of this app is unresponsive. Last mention on this guy's blog (wfmh.org/carlos) is that he's moving and has to set up his equipment and that was a month ago, so no passwords provided until then.????
Palmito: Trabaja perfecto con Treo 650, acá en Venezuela
STBXXL: Donated to get the full functionalilty but author is unresponsive. No replies on my emails or on the posts I left on his blog. Should have stayed with the free version and forget about the addtional functions.
sandw: This app will try to connect to your bluetooth GPS receiver, hence it opens the bluetooth app.
Cloak: I have a 755p.......tried to open my bluetooth app.didnt work,,,,,,,ZERO rating here
dvadout: I tried this and it kept wanting to read from my bluetooth. When it was on it couldn't find it and I don't understand why it needs to read from that. Since Google Maps came with my phone I thought it would be compatible with that but I have no idea how to get this to work without having to use my bluetooth.
nauddy: i dont get this i have a treo 700p and each time i click get my coordinates it syas do u want to turn bletooth on i do but i dont know wat to connect te bluetooth to any suggestions
shneor: Works like a charm on my Treo 650. But one drawback for me, at least, is that it does not show altitude. It works nicely with Google Maps.
cypressman: do you need to use the internet for it??
thank you
adriancombe: Time to add a zero to the dropdown list...
I tried this before and it did not work. I have a Palm Treo 700p with Garmin Mobile XT. The program linked with the GPS just fine (even if the program were lying, I would know by the speed of the blinking on the device.) BUT, the coordinates will not read no matter what I do. I emailed the creator and he never emailed me back (months ago) then he cranked out a new version, which still did not address the problem.
