Weblinks! 0.01 (for Palm OS)
Weblinks! 0.01 (for Palm OS)
Run WebLinks! and exit (or reset with WebLinks installed and activated for reset-duty in CleanStart or UnCache). Now a new feature is available in Blazer! Go to your favorite web page, then pull up the Blazer menu, and you will see an option to add links to WebLinks!. You will need to give the link a name. WebLinks! then creates an app which simply launches the URL straight from your launcher!
Xscene_laura: y wud ne1 want to launch weblinks from ther launcher your sposed to use ur bookmarks! drrrr!
write1here: Interesting application but Iownoise said it is not ready for primetime. Crashed my Treo 650 every time.
reverendrhino: Works great on my Sprint Treo 755p & works well with TreoLauncher. Great job again Alex!
lownoise: We've been using SharkLinks successfully to place URL shortcuts into the Launcher and was hoping this would be a slicker alternative.Weblinks! offers a Blazer menu item (nice!) and creates the shortcuts in its own application (not the launcher) which is fine. However, in our Treo 650 experience:1 - Immediately after installation, PalmOS got very slow. A reboot took care of this.2 - After using Blazer's menu option to create a Weblink and upon exiting Blazer, the Treo rebooted on its own. This sequence recurred the next time we created a new Weblink. No harm seems to have been done (though we're always concerned about any open files during such unplanned reboots) and the Weblink(s) created work fine. Good concept, needs work on the reboot issue. Thank you.
