VFSi 0.51b (for Palm OS)
VFSi: (Virtual File System Information viewer) is an image viewer that can read BMP (1, 4, 8, 16 bits), RLE (Run Length Encoding, 4 or 8 bit) and JPG Files from your SD Card.
Load the main program and the plugin(s) of your choice: BMP, JPG (ARM version), text, kani. If you're unsure, copy all PRC files to your Treo.
Note: This is aging beta software that seems to be no longer actively supported by the developer.
If you have trouble reading the original Japanese page, try this English translation.
egadgetguy: nena23 - all plugins have to be on the palm. Pick either the arm or m68 of swjpeg-plugin.
That said. It crashes my 650 a lot.
Rayauxais: Same deal, would not display most of my Jpegs
Nena23: I don't know why but It doesn't read JPG Files from my SD Card. There is a Message Box: VFSi cannot handle his type of file, sorry. File Information: Unknown type file. But it is a jpg file! I installed vfsi main prog, SysZLib, swjpeg plugin (arm version) and bmp plugin and nothing!!! Somebody help me please!
latinpolarbear: Does not display all JPEG's. Will display low quality, low file size images.
Hypersoul: Its GREAT
jetero: It's free and it works, you can't expect mroe.
hombrey: i downloaded this program because i was looking for a free image viewer. After trying it, I found out that it can be more than just that. Think of it as a stripped down palm version of windows explorer.
newtreoguy: Installed vfsi main prog, SysZLib and bmp plugin and voila! Looks like a very nice bmp viewer, although I haven't tried all the features yet. Gave it only 8 points because of total lack of installation/usage documentation.
