UniCMD (Uni Commander, Universal Commander for PalmOS®) is a program to manage, backup and exchange databases and files on PalmOS® computers. It encloses several powerful and comfortable functions, including:
copy (in all directions/ expansion cards/ handy/ PC)
beam, data exchange (EXG: bluetooth, IRDA, SMS; serial: X/Y-Modem)
compress (ZIP)
cipher, encode (BlowfishCBC, MD5, Mime64 (email-attachments))

UniCMD runs on most recent PalmPDAs with PalmOS 4 or above.

dp007dp: Wow this is really ,nice, I just got a new Centro and used this to backup everything and transfer it to the new one. This is kind of like FileZ and Destaller all in one, but much more useful. The interface is kinda confusing at first if your not a computer person, but its pretty easy to catch onto. Very solid overall, and its free to boot.

mindmeld: sick brah .. have a 700p .. its my only computer/t.v./phone/document writer - I back up w/ NVBack up - this program here let me manipulate an SD CARD to do the ROM update jus released.. couldn't figure out how to do it with other programs - this did the trick

: Been avoiding buying/downloading extra stuff for my palm, as this tends to be time-wasting and confusing . esp. with often ending up with lemon apps. that clutter the littel storage on the palm. I pulled this one down to take a look, and WOW! ... This app is simple, and loaded with tons of most useful features ... In no time, I have created a directory tree on both palmstorage and the expansion card, and began to move stuff around to fit into hierarchies that I can understand ... when I move an app, it moves the app and associated files .. it can install palm src files on my card .. it can un-install files on the palm by converting them to .prc files on my expansion card ... it can beam whole apps between devices .. it encrypts individual files/dir ... Does all this without a shout ... amazing ...

rk2612: Works great on my Treo600. Wish there was some way to simplify file associations and lauch files from the explorer.
