RNS:: TopAreaCodes was renamed from
RNS:: TreoAreaCodes.
It now supports Treo and Centro smartphones, so we decided to give it a more general name.
Free updates for all RNS:: products are still valid for renamed products.
RNS:: TopAreaCodes show information about the caller during a phone call: his location (country or state), area map, flag, seal, and more...
Only for Treo! No other phone has such feature.
Neat, colorful, animated, practical and totally cool!

rano: 2000 Man, but CityID does not support any graphics: maps, flags, etc. - that's why it's smaller. (Developer response)
2000 Man: Too bloated. Takes up a TON of RAM when you add the database files for the states. CityID works a lot better and is smaller.
Joad: Extremely clever idea, pretty well implemented, but for it to really be useful to most people you would need FAR more RAM than you have (even though the graphics can go on a card). Also, there is certainly the inevitable delay issue, and though the developers are very good at what they do, I feel uncomfortable putting my phone at risk with such a major 'hack' laying over the phone function and combining with all the other 'hack' overhead I've already tested and become reliant on.
Conclusion: Useful if you have lots of RAM and get many calls from all over the country and world. Otherwise very cool to play with, but probably not worth the money and RAM investment.
phe: I wish that it could break down according to the exchange as well as the area code, but maybe that can be developed later. Would probably be a big nasty database, but I'd at least find it useful enough to download for my local area.
msweet: What a great idea. Works perfectly on my GSM 650.
I have to say I was getting tired of the poor overall quality of the 650 phone as was thinking blasphemy, like using another real cell phone... but this app changed everything. I get international and omestic calls and now I can tell where (and sometimes who) it is. This is one cool app!!!
rhinotto: nice applications
boothefox: oh common, you promised something useful ;)
anggit: I don't really need kind of app since my operator can not show the caller if it is from abroad. What I need more is the company name is showed also with the caller name because the I have 1500+ contacts and can not remember them all.
evilbug33: not free 10 days expiry .. too large files slow.. but a neat idea to dat
