TreoAlertMgr 2.4 (for Palm OS)
TreoAlertMgr 2.4 (for Palm OS)
TreoAlertMgr is no longer for sale or supported as PDAapps have been taken over by Nokia
Are you a Treo user trying to use your PalmPhone as your primary means of timely communication? If you are using your Treo as a replacement for a pager, you may miss the "nag" ability of pagers; that they do not just alert you once about a incoming page, but repeatedly nag you (if you want) until you acknowledge the page. You have also surely been surprised by turning on the display of the Treo from standby mode and discovering that you have a missed call, unheard voicemail or an unread message which you missed because the display turned off before you saw the alert.
TreoAlertMgr allows you to completely control how and when your phone alerts you about missed calls, unheard voicemail and unread text messages and pages. You can have the system play a sound and/or vibrate when you have unheard voicemail, missed calls or unread pages/SMS messages

jgumphress: I only give it a 9 beacase it is only good for 15 days of use. You can't register it anymore. But it is a great little program. ARE THERE ANY HACKERS OUT THERE THAT CAN UNLOCK IT FOR US? If so, write me: jgumphress@gmail.com
MiDoJo: How do I remove the Time Bomb and or reg this program if Nokia hate me so much!!!!! this is the only prog that does this (ignoring butler and central). I'm selling my 600 and feel that the new owner should be able to know if he missed a call
AOwald: I'm giving this a 8, but it's a strong 8. The function of this program is solid, my only complaint is that I'm resorting to using sounds that I think comes with the app, and not onboard or even custom sounds I've put in my Treo. I'm hoping that the developers read the message I sent them about possibly coming out with a new release that allows for the selecting and execution of sounds stored locally on the Treo 650, or WAV and/or MP3 sounds stored on an SD card. If I see this happen, automatic 10.
CompuTech: For a busy person who depends upon their phone/pda for timely information this has proven to be one of apps I'd miss the most. My 15 day trial has timed out about a week ago. I tried to live without TreoAlert Manager during that time and missed a lot of important messages and calls. I will be purchasing this after I finish my comments here.
This is a very simple utility but it's one of the most useful on my Treo 650. Palm should have included this in the their firmware load.
