Same version as posted January 30, 2008 by Palm. Attention: If you are not a Sprint Treo 755p customer, do not download this version of the software. It contains carrier-specific requirements that are incompatible with non-Sprint Treo 755p's.
Note: This update is provided in two versions, an SD updater for all users or a desktop updater for Windows (including Vista). The first file is the SD updater and the second file is the desktop updater.
For the SD card method (first file), Palm warns that warns that using a microSD with an adapter may cause problems installing the update. Palm has identified that the most reliable method is to use a regular miniSD card. Using a microSD expansion card with an adapter can cause issues with the update.

jacobh: Went well for me! Though I'm not sure what was changed. Some of the built in programs seem a little faster. Please note: all programs are backed up when you hot sync. 
Joad: Palm warns that using a miniSD...may cause problems installing the update.Then I wonder why they would release a flash-updatable version of this firmware for a MiniSD-slotted device?!? Does Palm expect me to shove a full-size SD into the MiniSD slot to do this? (I'll stick to the desktop method I guess, but c'mon Palm!!). 
lunigma: I installed this update. Applications seem to load up a bit quicker. You open an app and it opens like right away, it's nice. You do have to perform a hard reset.The SMS program has some new icons, no big deal really.
