Treo 700p Updater for Verizon - OFFICIAL 1.10 Rev1 (for Palm OS)
Treo 700p Updater for Verizon - OFFICIAL 1.10 Rev1 (for Palm OS)
Same version as posted September 21, 2007 by Palm. Attention: If you are not a Verizon Treo 700p customer, do not download this version of the software. It contains carrier-specific requirements that are incompatible with non-Verizon Treo 700ps.
IMPORTANT: The Treo 700p updater has been re-released due to network connectivity issues. If you had installed the version released in July, download and install this version to fix the network connectivity issues.
Note: The ZIP file contains the SD card method (recommended if you have a SD card) of installing the update. The HotSync method of installation is available for download from Palm's site.
For the SD card method, Palm warns that using a miniSD or a microSD with an adapter may cause problems installing the update. Use only a full size SD card between 32MB and 2GB.
flex83: wow cool
fjohnson31: it works great to me probly not this download but when I took it to sprint they had no problem my phone is running better than ever..just let sprint do it..holla back
jkm9455: You guys are life savers...my ROM was corrupted..and I couldn't find the verizon updater anywhere... THANKS A BUCH!!!
sidaytona: Actually, this update fixed my Bluetooth problems once and for all. No more soft resets to fix bad Bluetooth connections. Follow the instructions perfectly and be very patient. I almost pulled the treo out after 10 minutes of a frozen progress bar. The Desktop program doesn't display the progress correctly.
furious: I don't know why those other guys had problems with their install. Mine went smoothly, No problems after installling the update. The web browser is faster and so far no more random soft resets.
I am using a Treo 700P.
ilabelu: I got the download from Palm today. The meter did not show progression and I got Error: "Unrecoverable Error". Tried 4 times..no luck. Certainly got to see TealBackup work nicely. Now what are we to do. I am not interested in a reset loop like others. Why does this have to be so difficult?
edwinh2209: what the F***?? this had no, DO YOU GUYS HEAR? NO EFFECT ON MY TREO, exept the fact that msm receive alert is gone even though there is now a preference to have it alert you or not. SETTING DONT WORK... my 700p is still LAGGIE AS F***!! and as far as the *SDHC cards being supported, YEAH!! all they did is do what all of us did centuries ago, they installed the SLOTDRIVER of the 680, duh! sorry, but this user waited a f***** year and a half for this update just to find out its not even worth it. AFTER 3 TREOS, NO MORE!!! SCREW PALM... I'M OFF WITH SOMETHING ELSE.
Chuck Lawhorn: I just followed the directions EXACTLY, and my Treo is now in a strange reset loop. It doesn't reset itself upon bootup, but it restarts when any program is launched.
I may have to pay a visit to Verizon tomorrow.
