hazardteam3: Power went out while doing this and my treo 650 is messed up. Thats the only problem when doing these the power cant go out!

palehorse: One thing I hate. Out of all the information, papers, cd, and other stuff that came with my Treo650 from Sprint not one thing said : Palm not supported on Windows Media Center PC: I downloaded the program from Palm. The software on the disk is to large. So when I noticed that the update on the Palm website for Sprint PCS was smaller I downlaoded it. Now I HAVE to have Windows Media Player 9. Plus I hate Real PLayer and Quick Time is garbage can not get it to go away. Last if you try to unistal the updated software from your computer remember to in ad remove programs click Details for more information. It will not let you remove from your computer unless you go through the website. So I am sticking with the CD I have now. I rate a 5 because I could be doing something wrong. Also it doesn't say anything about not making a copy of the disk............

EazyE: Try the updater on the actuall Palm Source website. i got mine from there and it worked flawlessly. it installed, reset my treo as needed only once. then i was running 1.12a and i deleted the installer. my phone works great now.

bdh18: i've tried to hot sync it to my 650 twice now and both times when I try to launch it from my screen my Treo Resets?? In "phne info" it still says I'm running "1.12". I've done all previous updates, have lots of software, and I know my way @ the 650 pretty well. I'm following instructions verbatim. What gives??
