dtone: Text messages are automatically deleted after looking at them. When 2 messages arrive and you press "go to" to look at your inbox, themessages disappear. Inbox/Outbox/Sent messages are not saved. I returned my first phone after the 1.17 update without knowing it was the update. I got my new one, worked great on 1.15, then the same thiong after the 1.17 update. Trash.

keybis: My Treo worked much better under 1.15. My headset volume sucks and I just downloaded an app (Volume Care) to increase volume of the phone which seems to work, just not for the bluetooth component. Still trying to figure out how I can use my BT headset and increase the V to overcome the crappy firmware upgrade.

dmarsh14: Had problems with the download and couldn't work around them. First I delayed when told to connect the charger and the auto off activated, which lost my Goodlink connection and I had to reinstall. The next time I got an error message regarding ROM. I will wait until these issues are fixed and try again later. Colleagues in my office had the same problem.

rwfsr: Had problems loading but worked around them. The bluetooth fix was much appreciated. Also a "little" more volume with the handset. I noticed faster running along with more memory. Waiting to see if there is anything else

yosimtysam: I tried to do the update with a fairly loaded system. After backup/update, the unit kept rebooting. Did a full reset and updated with a fake profile so as to not load all my apps back and it worked good. Must need a lot of free RAM to update.

dauntlv: Be advised: After downloading the update from PC to the Treo the Treo displays connect charger and hit OK to run update. I delayed in running the update and my screen saver (Auto Off) activated. I could not turn it back on or reset the unit. Pulling the battery did the trick; I then tapped the OK and all went well.
