Today brings the concept of a today page in your Palm OS device. Originally developed by Jonas Lindstedt, PocketCraft Software has taken ownership of Today 2.3 as of September, 2005. It is now a nag-free shareware for just $8.00 to support development cost.
The Today application gathers information from the built-in applications Date Book, Mail and To Do and displays the things to do today together with current time and date and owner of the handheld device. Other applications (e.g. DateBk4) can be launched instead of the built-in ones.
starfishnet: worked perfectly with the centro, had everything i wanted on an agenda except the b-days connected to a contact won't show up. I hope this can be fixed 
KabukiAssassin: Very bad. Not that it didn't work- but it PREVENTED MY PHONE FROM RINGING! I kept having "new voicemail" alerts even though my phone had not been ringing, and I came to find out that people had been trying to call me all day but my phone never rang once. As soon as I deleted Today, my phone worked fine. 
syzygy: I really wanted to like this application, but it just didn't work right on my 650. The "launch after n hours" didn't work at all, it wouldn't link to the calendar, it doesn't see Snapper mail, it would have odd graphics/display problems (like suddenly scrunching up into the top 1/4 of the screen), and it crashes. I really like the functionality, but it's just not there yet.
