SyncAll sets the backup-bits of all databases every time
you switch on your palm (needs less that 1 second). This causes the
HotSync to really save all (!) your databases.
With SyncAll you can be sure to get all your data back after a data loss.
Older application which still serves a useful function.
dajhorn: SyncAll 1.4.1 does not provide a method to revert the database change, which makes HotSync by bluetooth permanently slow after using SyncAll.
macable: I use this and BackupBuddy and they have saved my "skin" several times when I am experimenting with new stuff that may or may not be compatable with my 650.
kingsario: this a sweet program!!
tony64: Excellent job
SyncAll Version 1.4

Most people think the HotSync will save the whole data contained on the Palm and
this is enough to restore it after a power failure or other cause for data loss. But
the normal HotSync only saves the databases (all data/app is internaly stored in
databases) that has the so called "backup-bit" set.
Many 3rd party applications that store data on the palm do not set this bit,
so the data isn't HotSynced (I lost many SMSs and mails this way ...).
SyncAll fixes this problem.
SyncAll sets the backupbit of all databases every time the Palm is switched on
(needs <1 second). This causes the HotSync to save all (!) databases and not
only some.
If you use SyncAll you could be sure to get back all the data after a data loss ....
so better use it :)
To use SyncAll, do the following:
- 1) Install the program onto your Palm handheld.
- 2) Run it once to enable its functionality
- 3) From this point on, SyncAll will run automatically (in background, you won't notice that SyncAll does something) each time you start your palm
- 4) If you perform a hard reset on your Palm handheld, you will need to run SyncAll once after you reinstall it.
