SpeedDial 1.12 (for Palm OS)
SpeedDial 1.12 (for Palm OS)
SpeedDial for the Treo works in conjunction with the standard Treo Phone application. It allows you to store 99 SpeedDials, which can be called by dialing 1 or 2 digits in the regular phone application, and then the send button.
This is the method that is used by most mobile phones, but is lacking in the Treo.
(The Treo itself supports only the hold-down-your-finger-until-it-explodes method!)
In addition, this program has ShortDial, which allows you to dial any number in the Contacts, by dialing the last 4 digits of the number.
For example, you can dial 800-555-1212, by just dialing 1212.
Note: This program is currently offered in beta. Please visit the LionScribe website for bug reports and other information.
akm212: Excellent, easy to use program! Recommended for those who call a select few people frequently!
KevinAndrewLipscom: This functionality is definitely useful (and sorely missed in the OEM software), but it seems to interfere with the proper operation of PdaNet, which is currently vital to me.
Yaron2: EXCELLENT well thought out program. No problems here!
PruSucks: digitalphoto8, do the update and you'll be fine!
