twt: Snapper worked OK with my IMAP mail accounts, though it was frustratingly slow. I had no major problems with it but ultimately I decided it wasn't working as well as Chatter, despite the difficulty in getting Chatter set up correctly. My sister had terrible problems with Snapper mangling contacts and appointments. I didn't have those problems, but I only used it a few days.
mrtonk: I love SnapperMail. In fact, every time I read about great apps for the Treo, I expect SM to be listed, but then they always go and list Chattermail. CM was WAY too buggy for me and frequently crashed my Treo. I have NEVER had an issue with SM, it has a nice GUI, rather intuitive, powerful, fast - I love it.
skarface101: Tried it, bought it, and used (for a while).Pros: Easy to set up, handles IMAP well, drop-down folder list for mail boxes (very cool). Cons: it's slow to retrieve and load. DB crashes. Email font is just awful - even with the smallest font setting you get about 12-20 characters on the screen. The font is my main peeve, so I switched to Chatter and never looked back.

wood6994: The only complaint i have with Snapper is that it freezes your device while downloading your email. Chatteremail runs in the background and still gives you control of the device, even while it's retrieving email...BUT Chatteremail drains your battery way too fast and is very unstable. Chatteremail reset my 700p about every 15 minutes
SVRider: I like Snappermail a LOT...but I too get the corrupt DB error occasionally. You never know when it's going to hit and that really is not good! I contacted the developer and they had no explanation for why it does this. It was more of an "oh well, just live with it" response. Every version I have including 2.3.5 does it. If it didn't do this it would get a 9+.
csesget: This works terrific on my Treo 650. My primary regret is waiting so long to switch from Versamail; all my Treo frustrations ended when I finally gave up on it and got Snapper. Highly recommended! I give it an 8 because it auto-fetches when it's in the cradle, which I'd like to turn off but can't on GSM Treos (according to tech support). If that were fixed, it would be perfect for me.
ezriter93: I use versamail. And it does ok. how is this program better?
otterman: Tried it and liked it - until it told me my email DB was corrupt and deleted all email. Versamail has never done that so that's what I'll stick with.
