Snap 0.2.5 (for Palm OS)
Snap is a freeware software for taking screenshots on Palm OS 5 devices. Screenshots are saved as .bmp files on the expansion card. The main configuration screen of Snap is used to configure the filename prefix, and the hard key of the palm triggering a screenshot. A snapshot is taken by pressing the activation key in any application while Snap is enabled - the screenshot is being processed between two beeps. The screenshots are written on the expansion card, in the /palm/programs/Snap/ directory.
This software is tiny and uncomplicated, it is designed to "just work". The zip file includes English and French versions.

thsalbert: Just installed and it worked for me. Only problem, it gave me two screen capture with one activation. It work excellence.
tryzub: EVERYONE RTFM for explanation of application functionality, location of shots, etc. ;) -- -- It works great for me. If I have to take several shots, I uncheck the "auto disable", use the Power button for the hard key, take my shots and then return to the app to Disable it. Works like a charm for an "alpha" product. -- @robogobo: Listen for the Treo beeping. The screenshot is taking place btwn the beeps.
robogobo: Seems to not be working, but it turns out it is. Treo seems to freeze, and there's no indication that the screenshot was successful. But then you find out you have 20 screenshots in the Snap folder on your SD card. If your Treo seems to freeze, just eject your SD card and reinsert to tak you back to the launcher.
hoobajoonate: started to mess up my palm and I was only able to delete it after several resets.
didn't work for me
egadgetguy: It works!
1. the app has to BE ON THE TREO, not the card.
2. I had to use the power button.
3. The bmps are in /palm/programs/snap/
4. VSFi can view bitmaps.
5. Support sucks.
KabukiAssassin: I can get it to work, but for the life of me cannot find the BMP files!
cnwilson2003: I can not get this to work for me. Whenever I enable the program, it disables itself, even with Auto disable unchecked. I have not been able to use the program at all but it is a good concept.
MarieC: Bravo Eddy :-)
rangerer: Works as advertised. Had to use the power button on my Treo 650 as the hotkey.
gralfca: It just does what it is supposed to do.
