kleinias: This is an absolutely fantastic application for using irc on your palm handheld. I've found it works well with Treo 650's and the new Treo 700P. It's the first irc application that supports background multitasking and the developer has continued to refine the application as time goes by.

Geckode: For the ircoholics this is an excellent app. you can be online chatting on irc when ever and where ever you want to. The background option is excellent. Never having to leave irc until you are ready to quit. And the support from the developer is outstanding also. Open for suggestions and wish lists. Great work! Great App.

600 Club: So nice to be able to use other apps while on IRC and even take a phone call for like a minute and a half without losing the connection! SO many great features with lots more in the works. Can't wait til IM gets added!! In background it beeps when someone says my name or any other words I specify! I especially like how responsive the developer is to user suggestions. Background can be tested on the trial version while on irc.palmchat.com. UpIRC has become a thing of the past!!
