PicturePassword 2.2 (for Palm OS)
PicturePassword 2.2 (for Palm OS)
Just tap the secret point at the picture of your choice. Or press a couple of hardware buttons - it's really fast. PicturePassword allows to enter picture or button code only once. If wrong code is entered then complicated system password will be required, eliminating code guessing. Make security fun and usable PicturePassword lets you customize your PDA with any picture you like. In addition, useful info is shown on a lock screen:
-Big digital clock, date and day of the week
-Owner info
-Battery level
scottymomo: Doesn't work well with the 650. Defaults to the default security app lock screen way too much. Also if any remote locking app is used, it defaults to the default security app lock screen and not picturepassword.
stevecase: I discovered by accident how to make this work with a Treo. After you set it up, go back and change the "Auto lock after" to "Power Off" and click "OK." If that's already set, then change it to "Never," then change to "Power Off". That's the only setting that works with a Treo. The treo "Security" app will always be set to "Never" by PicturePassword, but you can use the Power Pref to turn if off and PicturePassword will lock it. When I now rec'v a call on my 650, I see the picture first, then then the phone app kicks in with tones and buzzing.
shou5: BAD! IT DOES BAD THINGS TO MY TREO 650
rgaboury: Um... doesn't really work on the Treo650 -- that is if you actually want the phone to ring/vibrate when you get a call... Back to the built-in security lock...
ice5339: Well fine in theory but always turns my treo 650 on again after 5 sec, totally irritable
Slem: YAWN.
