PhoneSwitch Deluxe 1.3.2 (for Palm OS)
PhoneSwitch Deluxe 1.3.2 (for Palm OS)
PhoneSwitch Deluxe is a simple utility that redirects your PalmOS based smartphone when it is hung up. Redirect to either a preset application or have it switch to the last program you were using. Quit landing in the phone program when you dialed from a different launcher. Stop reloading the web site you were reading just because a call came in. Let PhoneSwitch handle everything.
PhoneSwitch Deluxe also offers advanced options such as: an exclude list that allows you to exclude a program from being switched to after a call, an option to only launch the specified app if the call is incoming, and the option of resetting the set app to a preset one after a set amount of time.
blzsmh8: So Far!!!!
phil12210: Version 1.3 now has the option to bypass PhoneSwitch if the call is ignored. Enjoy. (Developer response)
Joad: Neat idea - but in practice it is more trouble than it's worth for me. Example - if I'm in the middle of entering an extensive detailed entry into PocketQuicken or Blazer when the phone rings, even if I ignore the call it erases my work and takes me back to zero. True, there is an exclude list, but programming behavior for the 300+ apps I have is too daunting for the benefit derived. (also, I worry about that exclude db corrupting due to NVFS and needing to completely redo it).If the ignore button behavior were set to behave just like the native Palm OS then this program would be perfect. It's the troublesome fact that ANY call - even if ignored - triggers an exit and restart of the app you are using.
phil12210: Oh that's right! I thought I was forgetting to add one request and I couldn't for the life of me think of what it was. I will try to get an update out this weekend with a fix. (Developer response)
cheker: Sadly for me, my request wasn't added. Not in Deluxe or Basic new version. PhoneSwitch still goes back to Contacts (and not to pre-set app) on calls originated from that app (Contacts). :(
