DualDate is a new program from Palm that is an enhanced version of the standard Date Book.
Unlike the original Date Book, DualDate lets you share your calendar with family, friends and colleagues. You can therefore receive somebody else's calendar too.
Calendars are shared simply by beaming DualDate to another user, and this can include private events if you wish. Privacy is maintained but the dates/times that they occur are included.
When you receive another user's calendar DualDate automatically converts to a dual view mode, which allows you to see both sets of entries simultaneously.
If you have a colour device the calendar entries you receive will have a different (definable) colour, whilst greyscale users can differentiate between the two with different shades of grey.
Received calendars can be viewed, but not altered. Any changes to either calendar can be updated on the other device simply by beaming the calendar again.
Xscene_laura: dual date! for nerds!
ghincks: LOVE THIS PROGRAM - it answered my prayers! The phone button was 'reassigned' but Btnfix download fixed that - no problem.
Love it!
jseusebio: The .prc file shown on this website is version v1.0, not v1.1 as claimed, and v1.0 doesn't work with my Treo600
kyeoh: This is an excellent program (have used it for years on a Clie & Vx), but it just doesn't work on the Treo 650. It seems to work superficially, but doesn't update its database of events to update changes made with the Calender application. And doing anything on the application takes at least 5 seconds per keystroke/tap.
jpboyer: DualDate has some problems with Treo 650 and Tungsten T5. It identifies the "user" of the calendar from both Palm Pilots as "Default" and permanently changes the green phone button to be the button to open DualDate. It looks like it would be good if it worked as described.
