Opera Mini 4 Beta 4.0.8462 (for Windows Mobile)
OperaMini 4 Beta
Opera Mini 4 Beta is a fast and tiny Web browser that allows you to access the Internet on your phone. By downloading the free Opera Mini 4 Beta, you get access to your webmail, community sites, news, blogs and more.
Note: You must have Java installed for this app to work.
fred sanford: 1 is way to good for this piece of crap . the real score is -512.works great if you stay on the net for less than 3 min. at a time
crusadersr1: will it cost me money if i use it?
cirrusking: I really like the concept (acts like Iphone) but mine would often lock up the my 700p either at the opening page or going to an address. Found some solutions: Set the Java by going to Applications, preferences to IBM Java VM. From the drop down at the top pick Opera Mini 4 beta. Check the boxes for "use Double Buffering" and "Use high resolution coordinates". Then at the bottom set 'memory maximum' to at least 4 meg. And the "set maximum Java Thread Stack Size" to 16kb" (Another solution I read said to set it to 4kb; 16 seems to work better.) Still occasionally locks up but works much better
climber_rich: Will not install properly on my Treo 680. Could not get it to run.
old_hatch: promising if they can get the full page display to be perfectly clear. I like the zoom in feature but hate the mouse pointer. too hard to select llinks. it hangs up alot. all in all if they can get this to be as stable as OperMini 3 it would efinately be an upgrade. reminds me of the web browser on the Iphone
lownoise: Wish we could adopt Opera instead of Blazer... Too bad it hangs and hangs and hangs.
avalonamerica: me da problemas de que se congela la pantala y es mas lento que la version 3
S:-G: I have 650. Use Opera Mini 2 -- LoRes quite long. It's the best, IMHO, from existing browsers. Opera HiRes does not start -- makes error (may be java). Opera 4 do not touch other Operas (+ -- u could use them as earlier). But it just show start screen (Opera mini) and freeze (creating some temp-file), but don't hang-on treo -- I could come back to system or other appl. So, 10-for idea (look advantages), 1-2 for compatibility&implementation --> (10+2)/2=6.
Does somebody have success with this beta?
