quick007: Its a little tricky & a bit complex but it works when you get eveything set up correctly. It made me mad a couple of times but in then end its a winner
Nizark1: useless...freezes my 650 everytime
imranj: cheaters
chiri: not compatible wuth my treo650 it causes the treo not to detect the sd card
shou5: WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!
andersonms: Não deu pra testar bem porque só disponibiliza 10 músicas na versão Share, mas parece muito bom.
bzinner: I have never written a review on any type of software before, until now...of course, I never have been so blatantly ripped off before either. Do not, I repeat, do not buy this program. I decided to part with the 14.95 so that I could have full use of the program (past the 10 mp3 files the demo version allows). Although the website states that you will receive your registration code/serial number with your receipt, after you pay for the program with your debit or credit card, and your card is charged, you then receive a notice stating that if you send the notice to their support staff via e-mail, you will receive your registration code. When that will actually happen I have no idea. (keep in mind, I did receive a receipt, of course with no registration code)
When my screen is off, the mp3 ringer will not work, even though the phone is still on. Also, having no volume control for the ringer is unheard of. Please do not waste your money like I did....even though I'm glad it was only 14.95 and the lesson learned was worth every penny.
acgutierrez: Needs improvement:
- You have to use the No sound option from your original Sounds menu to be able to hear the MP3 you selected.
- BUG: If you set MUTE button on top of the Treo and go back to the UNMUTE selection, the MP3 ringtone won't play all the time.
- BUG: It crashes when phone shortcuts from the main menu are used either to call or from call received from the shortcut number (it goes to a soft start after the call is over).
-BUG: Not very good and stable when GoodLink is installed.
Promising and good enough if it were free but too full of bugs for being a SHAREWARE.
collinsryan: my original ringtone plays on top of the mp3 anyone know how to get that off
nycgurl: So Far this is the only mp3 ringer I can get to work. It's simple too, so I think that helps. This is just for rings. Nothing fancy like gifs or animations. It's cheaper too! I'm still on the trial version. If it keeps working I'll buy it.

Revision History
version 2.0 Changes
- added mp3Plugin for mp3 ringtones for Treo650 only
- added popup menu when you select Prefs button
- Changed the application icon
- Added hires icons
version 1.6 Changes:
- fixed the bug that keeps the ringtone playing. sorry for
the debug.
- Added North America area code database support.
this is the same database found in lightwav and we want
to share with all mp3ringer users. Goto the mp3ringer menu and view
the area codes. if the area code is not there or you want
to edit just delete the current one and add your own.
- Added "Display caller are code" in the prefs. you need
to check this for mp3Ringer to display the city name that
the caller is calling from.
version 1.5 changes:
- Added maximum ringtone in the Prefs. if this is checked mp3Ringer will play the ringtone at the loudest possible. If that isnt loud enough you can goto Pockettunes or aeroPlayer and crank up the boost.
- Added the number of seconds before mp3ringer plays the ringtone. If you notice mp3ringer isnt picking up the callerID and it isnt playing the correct ringtone for the custom contact then set the delay to 2 or 3 seconds.
- Added Delete sound files when you select a sound for a ringer.
- You can now use the Green (Answer) and Red (Ignore) buttons on the T650 to answer and ignore. this will stop the mp3 ringtone. On the T600 you can use the Phone and Power buttons to do the same
- added AeroPlayer 5.1 support for mp3/ogg
- Added support for compressed wav files on the T650
