MP3 experience like never before!
Listen to your MP3 collection on your Treo in a completely new way! mOcean is a truly portable MP3 player that you can use in 4 different ways guaranteeing maximum flexibility and entertainment. Scroll down for more details.
Note: The latest version of mOcean has been modified to AdWare, meaning its use is free, but with consistent Ad popups. Registering will end these popups.
zune91: Its ok but cant read any of my music
lilithofedom: It says that the product will work on your treo but it doesnt.
zoo76: Fantastic product for those with iPods in the family; if you are already using iTunes, this opens your music collection to your Treo. NOTE: As others have mentioned, this will not play protected files (such as those download via iTunes). Sync with your playlists (and only the playlists you select) and play via all of the iPod optons (genre, artist, playlist, etc). I have run this for 10 consecutive hours on a single charge, with battery life still remaining.
moosemandy: I find that Mocean is a very good mp3 player for my treo 650. It plays multiple songs and in good sound as well with no jumps what so ever.
2000 Man: Trial doesn't play anything so you have to spend money just to find out that mOcean skips more than pTunes, plays less formats than TCPMP and can't play in the background. Total waste.
gwayne: Very good for my phone
truebonz: It's oh-so-similar with Apple's iPod interface. Beware, Apple could be writing a lawsuit anytime soon.
MAT72: I agree this has a lot of potential, HOWEVER, you cannot sync music that was purchased from the iTunes music store even tho the program resembles an iPod. This is not clearly disclosed unless you read the FAQs.
swoneill: Trying the trial with mOcean 2.5.1 on a Sprint Treo 650 running Palm OS Garnet v5.4.8. I really like mOcean. It has lots of potential. I give it a two (2) because the mOcean FAQ says that when the phone rights mOcean will automatically pause music play. On my phone, it does not. MotionApps has been made aware of this situation and they said "They work on this issue, and future mOcean release might solve this." I believe the use of the word "might" was a fat finger. IMHO because of this issue mOcean is not ready for prime time and should be avoided until this issue is resolved.
el-gorra: Without a doubt the best player but still crashes my Treo a little too often.
The current version has a pretty stupid bug that sorts the songs in albums alphabetically (really sucks with dance music) instead of by track number.
Also, you can't play a whole folder in the SD card, when you click on a song in the folder it will play only THAT song and stop.
With a little work it will be perfect
v3.2.3
