MobileWrite 3.7.2 (for Palm OS)
MobileWrite 3.7.2 (for Palm OS)
Using
MobileWrite, it is easy to enter text and data, in to your favorite Palm OS applications, by simply writing on the screen of your handheld, instead of using the keyboard. It is an improvement over the Graffiti 1 and Graffiti 2 handwriting recognition software found on many Palm OS PDAs and Smartphones.
MobileWrite gives you an option to use standard printed letters or Graffiti letters. Using the standard letters, capitals and lowercase letters can be written as you normally would on paper. With its standard set of characters, and the ability to write complete words across the entire width of the screen, letter writing or data entry can be done with less effort. Using the Graffiti letters option, data can be entered faster and with increased accuracy thanks to the efficient 1 stroke letters.
Key features include:
Letters, numbers and other symbols can be written directly on the screen of the handheld or in the Palm OS Input Box.
Recognizes both uppercase and lowercase letters.
In addition to the standard characters, TAB, SPACE, BACK SPACE, RETURN and the ability to Cut/Copy/Paste text is also available for editing longer text messages.
Displays alternate letters for easy corrections.
Write one character at a time or an entire word across the screen.
MobileWrite does not need to be trained to recognize characters.
Integrates seamlessly with other Palm OS applications requiring text entry.

Wadmore: Been using version 3.5 and have now installed 3.6. Good job! 3.5 used to have too much overhead and they have solved this. 3.6 is much faster and has added quite a few small but helpful additions. (on Treo 650 from Telus)
b0bbyyyyy: this is a pretty cool app being that the treo has no graffitti program but the reason is because the treos have a full qwerty keyboard which is so much easier than having to rewrite letters over and over to get the right character otherwise this will impress other treo owners who don't have the app
khiroshima: This works well on my 700p, I came from Graffiti Anywhere, but for some reason I can't get Graffiti 1 to work and Graffiti 2 is unacceptable. I would rate this higher, but there is a small latency from when I write my character and the appearance of that character on the screen. Can be a little distracting.
