LightWav is the only MP3/WAV/OGG ringtone and caller ID manager for the Treo 600/ 650/ 700p/755/ 680 /Centro that you will ever need. LightWav is packed with cool features such as MP3/WAV/OGG ringtones, full screen JPG callerID, GIF and Animated GIF and Live! video callerID, callerID blocking, Announce call with many different languages, ringtone volume boosting, do not disturb, call notes, Missed Call, powerful Simple Profile and many more features.
For advanced users you can block out any caller with caller ID, block SMS message, launch any application with SMS message filtering.
For advanced and professional users you can use the Call Completion feature to add call notes after each call to keep a history of the conversation with each caller. You can then export the call notes to the

Use the Do Not Disturb feature when you are busy or away from your phone. The caller will receive a friendly SMS message or the caller is put into voice mail. LightWav supports sound files in RAM and has support for ringtone when the external card is ejected.

reverendrhino: Same here, as a long time user, xViewer.prc re-sets my Treo! I hope Smiley has a fix soon. I've been using Lightwav since the first version, really, I still have the o.g. file. The last few months i've been with RingoPro, no problems at all. So when a buddy sent me this version of Lightwav, it looked 100% better....then came the re-sets. Smiley...please a fix.
j_cee2000: I've tried to upgrade with v1.6 but eventually returned to v1.5. Reason: when using gifAnim as picture caller ID, xViewer.prc causes resets on my T650 (unlocked GSM) & it doesn't even save the new ringer with gifAnim image on the new interface. Hope the developer will have a FIX on this bug. :-)

- Added the LightWavLib wav/mp3/ogg audio player back. Goto the sounds prefs and change
the audio player. Recommend you to use the LightWavLib. If you have problems then use the wav/mp3 plugins.
- Added disable volume boosting in the Sounds Prefs and fixed the boosting sound during
testing.
- Fixed the JPG callerID bug. The last version had problems freezing
- Fixed the playback sound. When you test the sounds in Lwav it will always use the
custom ringtone boost if its set.
- Fixed the Playlist problem with pocketTunes. Now you when you are listening to audio and
you get a phone call lightwav will restore the Playlist in Ptunes. To listen to where you
left off just go back to ptunes and select the Play button.
- Fixed the freezing bug when you browse for files. Before if you have folder names greater
than 30 characters LightWav will freeze up.
- Modified group ringtone lookup. This should be faster in searches when looking for
a group ringtone especially if you have 100s of contacts
- Modified the ringtone Position. When you change the position you will need to select
Stop and Play again to hear the ringtone for LightWavLib. We did experience crashes
when changing position for some mp3 files with LightWavLib.
- When doing a SMS lookup in the SMS filter the Name of the contact is now automatically
filled in
- updated the GIF and Mpeg4 plugins
RVHSPimpin: I loved the new features for the program since the last LightWav, but when I would get a call and the program would play an MP3...it would continue to play after I answered the call. Quite annoyin for me and the person calling. Fix that bug!
EazyE: great application. very few problems. some reset issues, random, few and far between for me. i just upgraded to 1.4 and everything is still the same. working as usual, knock on wood. good app. working for me.
TheMaskMaster: I've had this program for while and I like it very much. The features work great most of the time but it does take a lot of care and feeding to avoid the reset problems. The developer is normally very responsive and releases updates and fixes on a regular basis. He has been MIA of late and this does worry me.

- Added Calendar Profile plugin. When you schedule an appointment in Calendar or Agendus you can set a temp Profile in the Notes screen.
You will see a new Profile or Prof button. Tap on it to set the temp profile. When the appointment is over the Profile plugin will clear the temp. profile.
You must turn off the Treo so the plugin can check the appointments.

- Added Profile application to quickly set a temporary profile. When you set a temp profile you will have to clear
the temp profile otherwise Scheduled profiles will not work.
You can assign the Side button to launch Profile in the Buttons area in the system Prefs app
