intelligent code into the skin structure so the skin forms in essence the
user interface layer for LauncherX.
OK, so what does this mean? It means the look and behaviour of your
interface limited only the imagination of skin designers! Prepare yourselves
for some mind-blowing concepts in the near future

Version History

Blublub: This version is a 7, version 1.1 was definitely a 9 or 10. Unfortunately development seems to have stopped and there is no response to emails. However, v.1.1 still seems to work great on modern devices. I too love the simplicity of this over all other launchers.
vapor20: Love this launcher but, when I upgraded to a 755p, it became very unstable (crashes and reboots) - I don't use it anymore :(
willb357: Trying to get rid of this but it says it is read only an can only be deleted in the pro version. can anyone help
Madrigal Maniac: I have used some version of this program since its legendary days as Launcher III and have always found it a valuable tool. Many like Zlauncher better, but I found it much like the PocketPC OS. I temporarily owned a Pocket PC and could not believe how counterintuitive it was. I found ZLauncher to be the same. I use the Palm OS for business as well as pleasure. Sometimes I just need to find the damn program quickly and launch it. For those who enjoy the extra features of ZLauncher, I understand. It used to be I would pay extra money for a device (generally a stereo receiver) that had a button that I may only use once a millennium. Now I think more simply. Launcher X simplifies your Palm experience, but still has many bells and whistles and works flawlessly.
vasma: Back to the Future (1.12b), untill I will see, serious & fresh news.
peng1can: Cellneuron... seems the developer read you comments. 1.2.22 pretty much seems to have been released just to address your menu issues. Now, if only we could get bluetooth status and a BT gadget, I'd be out of wishes for this product. ;-)
cellneuron: Tried the new version, it sucks. I am backing to verion 1.1 now.
Version 1.2 didn't provide any new features for treo 650, but broke a lot.
1. Bloated. v1.1 is only 244kB, while this version is more than 480KB.
2. Lost shortcut to system preference. In v1.1, pressing "menu + p" goes to prefence, no shortcut anymore in this version.
3. menu structure is messy. The purchase menu set stay there for ever even you already registed.
(Note of the Developer: All three issues are fixed as of release 1.2.30)
msweet: Dozens of launchers out there. This one is quick, easy to use, does everything, and works without a bug. Simply the best launcher out there. Beauty in simplicity.
ghostofcain: not yet a worthy rival to Zlauncher. but I plan to keep an eye on developments
apriddle: Wouldn't even Hotsync to my phone without crashing my puter...dragola.
