Keepoff 1.4 (for Palm OS)
Keepoff 1.4 (for Palm OS)
Keepoff will disable the keyboard on a Treo 600 until the power button is pressed, or a screen tap, even when the device wakes up for email or alerts. Keepoff locks out all keys when the Treo is turned off (with the power button) until it is turned on again using the power button. You must disable the keyguard for this to work properly.
lunigma: Works just fine on my 755P, I tried Eagle Fire's Hex Edit and it got rid of the green dot.
mark magu: Don't know what the problem is with other raters. This app works perfectly on my Treo 700p. I set it so only the red power button wakes up. Chances of accidental awakening in my pocket reduced 80%. The little green light in low right corner? I would never have noticed. It's free! A perfect 10. Why so few downloads I wonder.
csonnichsen: Maybe its just me, but can anyone tell me how to use this without having to pop the battery everytime? Maybe some other app is interfering. I'll keep it for when I really REALLY don't want the buttons to work, but jeez !!
Eagle_Fire: Wonderful! I hated having to hit the center button to turn off keyguard when I can just use the power button on the top. Now I can disable keyguard altogether!
I hated the green square so I just popped open a hex editor and changed 3F3C 0002 486E FFE4 4E4F A389 to 4E71 4E71 4E71 4E71 4E71 4E71, installed it, and that turns that pesky square off (what is it for anyway?).
nbtreo: It works as it tells. The only little thing is that a little green square appears on the right bottom.
If u can live with this...
