Hans Rasch: missing it dearly in base packages of palm
TheatreGroupNYC: easier to use on the treo 650 them mobile write and or teal
BoydC: Aargh! I finally found a "graffiti" program that appears to do what I want it to and it isn't available anymore! Maybe I could buy a copy from someone who doesn't like it?
iMarc: I must add my disgust about CIC here. I purchased both Jot and WordComplete some time ago. They didn't bother to send any notification of their decision to "...take the money and run...".
Besides that, they never did respond to the bug reports I sent them. I did try calling them, but got nowhere with their roadblock phone menu system.
AVOID THIS COMPANY (C.I.C.) LIKE THE PLAGUE!
MFB: I've been a jot registered user since 2001. I didnt even recieve an email notifying me of the company's decision to stop supporting or giving upgrades to registered users. That's the least they can do.
sweet6ethng: cool stuff :)
Detailed Description
Get capital Letters without shifting
With the division mark Jot places on the Palm display, your screen is divided into sections like the Graffiti writing area. So, where you write determines if the character will be read as uppercase, lowercase, numeric, or a symbol.
Get punctuation without shifting
Write common punctuation quickly without the punctuation shift step required by Graffiti and the Pop-up keyboard.
Get more room to write
With Jot you can use the recognizer on the full-screen or in the input panel area. You also get the ability to see the ink as you write! Jot also enables Graffiti in full-screen mode.
International character support
Jot supports recognition of Roman-based western European languages and accent marks!
Editing gestures
Editing is easy with gestures for cut, copy, paste, undo and several other common editing actions. No shift key is necessary!
Recognition Tuner
You can customize the way you write some of the characters to improve recognition accuracy.
Shortcuts
You can define frequently used phrases and activate them by writing an abbreviation that you assign to each shortcut.
