Installing JVM was a huge pain in the a$$, but it is definitely worth it to have opera; it's a lot better than Palm's browser.Just follow the install instructions and change the memory settings and it will work.

monir81: I have a Palm Centro and had problems with Opera crashing any time the tools menu was accessed and just about any other time at random. I changed the maximum Memory to 8MB and 8KB for the Java thread size and haven't had a problem since. It can be found in the IBM Java Preferences menu under the Phone options --> System Preferences menu. Thanks for providing the Java VM!

PalmCentro1108: Best for me since it worked the first time. I kind of got used to Opera Mini which I was using on my earlier Java enabled phone. There are some issues like screen refresh not being good but I think I can live with that. I am using it on my Palm Centro and I find that Opera Mini is faster the Blazer. Not sure if others feel the same.Thanks for providing this download.

Adondo: You have got to be kidding me. That is my reaction to this horror of an app. Why did I even install it you ask? Because Opera Mini runs in it. It will NOT run unless this massive RAM reducing garbage is installed first. I moved (and moved and moved) apps and databases to the SD card until I had over 10 megs of RAM in my Treo 650. Still, EVERYTIME I tried to get Opera set up, the Treo would crash. There is something about reducing the amount of RAM Java is allowed to use to prevent crashing, (In the Opera Mini help pages) but I cannot get there. If I tap the menu button in Opera Mini to access settings the Treo resets. After a dozen resets, I removed it ALL, the Java stupidity AND Opera Mini. It is all GONE. Two hours of my life I cannot get back!! As for Opera Mini not being a stand alone .prc app like the 1.5 Billion (That is billion with a B!) other Palm apps, and having to require this albatross to run, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?

southwestroadboy: who in the f^&8 would want this applacation, a complete waste of memory on my 650 and all java apps is lame. they dont run right features dont work. nothing works right but real palm applacations. there is no zero rating so i gotta give it a 1. for the most part of my review, installing this app you will loose 500kb from device memory. my memory was 5.0 now its 4.5 due to the crappy java install and uninstall. palm needed to pull this crap from the web and so do this website need to follow the same, you download it u will be sorry that you did so.
