Requirements:
- Treo 650, 680, 700p, 755p, Centro
- Hybrid headset designed for Treo 650, or any mono phone headset with button.
Feature List:
- pTunes functions: Load, Launch, Play, Pause, Next, Scan, Previous, Volume Up, Volume Down, Toggle Random.
- Aeroplayer functions: Load, Start, Play, Pause, Next, Scan, Previous, Volume Up, Volume Down.
- Phone functions: Dial, Redial, Voicemail.
- Pause music players when headset is unplugged.
- Does not interfere with the headset button for answering and hanging up phone calls.
- Adjustable volume increments.
- Works with the screen off.
- Turns the screen back off following commands that turn the screen on.
Note: This app requires a free registration code. Included in the ZIP file is JW Ideas' registration code generator.
IMPORTANT: You must install the version of the program for your device. This is because the app checks the device model.

I just received the Treo 680 version of HeadsetControl 1.08 from JW Ideas less than an hour after I sent a mail to JW Ideas. It works fine now on my Treo 680! Kudos to JW Ideas for the quick response!! 
rkous: Very nice litle tool. I used it a long time on my Treo 650, but now I have a Treo 680 and it refuses to run on it (it says "For Treo 650/700p Only" when you start it and then it closes again) 
MiDoJo: There is a newest version 1.08 so far not available on mytreo or palmgear. I don't know why though. www.jwideas.com (developer's site) is where I found it. It works great on my 700p. Can control Phone, Ptunes, AreoPlayer and Realplayer.
