sidaytona: Excellent! Supplied earpiece now doubles as mono headphone. Setting the program to headphone will force MP3s (pocket tunes) though the supplied phone ear piece (Treo 600). I can now play my favorite MP3s, interupt to take a call then automatically continue the music when I hang up! All this while still having one ear free and with the palm never leaving my pocket. I love sticking it to Palm for trying to sell us headphones seperately.

mateen: The Auto does not work on my 650.

marshallmidden: Is there potential to direct output to the back speaker on the 650? i.e. a) headphone, b) phone speaker, and c) the nice speaker on the back. Would make a neat mp3 player option.

ixpert: I use a pair of palmOne Treo hybrid headphones to listen to mp3 on my Treo 650. When a phone call comes in, it will ring through the speaker instead of the headphones, and there is no sound in the headphones. It is quite embarrassing when people on the bus look at me strangely. Why does this guy with a expensive-looking smartphone wearing a pair of headphones still have sound coming out of the smartphone!? I have tried Freedom and it did not work. HeadCold solved my problem and it is free! The automode works perfectly on my Treo 650. I love this!

patrickdonohue: This is great! I have a Seidio cradle mounted in the car. When it is plugged in, all audio books, and navigation stuff needs to be heard through headset. With this wonderful app, I can redirect to the speaker, which I prefer. It would rate 10 if it would revert to headset only for phone calls... THANKS!!!

Vortex: Same problem as Jelly - for me it only works with a Treo handsfree earphone if you select "headphones" from the options. The auto setting does not work, but it would be an excellent piece of freeware if it did.

ilkera: I don't understand the aim of this app. My Treo 650 directs the output to headphones whenever a headphone is plugged in.

Jelly: this is good for listening to MP3s on my treo. however, it would be great if the auto function really works. i had to manually click on "headphones" just to get my MP3's play on the heaphones.
