Freedom 2.0.1 (for Palm OS)
Freedom 2.0.1 (for Palm OS)
The ultimate solution to your
Treo? 600 headphone problems: Freedom. With Freedom, you can finally listen to mp3's and audio with any headphone and no longer have to deal with the speaker phone.
Freedom detects whether or not there is a headset, and plays your sounds through the headset if it's plugged in, or the Treo speaker if there's no headset available. Freedom works with the Treo?/PalmOne? supplied headphone and all other headphones that are compatible with the Treo?, including BlueTooth dongles, FM adapters, etc...
Freedom does not work with Bluetooth Headsets

Dario: With pause/resume working is close to be a fine program, but cant use it 'till will make the screen on my treo stay illuminated. That is the only problem, it does not cause reset to me.
digitalfilm: Nice concept, but cause multiple resets as well as the screen to stay illuminated when an external headset is plugged in. I am a registered user, but would only recommend it to those willing to put up with these headaches, such as myself who is a heavy mass transit commuter.
dcorleto: Now works great with ptunes and does not give any errors that I can see. Seems pretty solid and gives great functionality to playing music with pocket tunes
VTMIKEY2000: Great Application, however I removed it before I had the problems below.
goldend329: My unit also had the problem where it would reset itself, and even after hard reset the problem wasn't solved. I had to have my unit replaced/buy another device. I'm warry of trying this again.
pwd6969: wonderful ware
tfd: The demo version may lock-up the phone, but the registered version is really cool. Integration with Pocket-Tunes works perfectly.
khiroshima: Don't know what happened to those folks below, I didn't let my demo license expire and bought the app. I figured it was worth it to turn my phone into a mini-iPod. I am happy and will likely never buy a stereo headset to listen to my phone . . .
fetacini: Terrible program! Had to do a hard reset and lost all my data after demo expired! Caveat Emptor!
the: this program horrible bug that causes fatal crash after freedom trial expires and leaves the treo buzzing until you do a hard reset
