brandobean: Seems to work pretty well. Was confused for a moment that the app doesn't appear in the lancher. It doesn't and has no UI. You install it, and it just works.

If it can make the favorite in Phone universe, I can remove butler completely.
I do agree that popup the command bar is a little bit slow.
JrnymnJay: seems to work in Memo but in PsMemo, holding shift and using the 5way to select a word results in the word being selected then the application switches to the PsMemo list view.
: doesn't seem to work within Blazer app. overall still worth having.
tilt101: Works great! But holding the menu key takes a while before the command bar appears. Hopefully the hold menu key delay can be shorten or manually set on the next version.
Chuck Lawhorn: The program does what it says, but when I scroll through the list of apps in the exclusion list, my Verizon Treo 650 resets every time.
I would give it a 10 without the reset problem.
ScrollJump does the same thing.

Detailed Description
FieldPlus is a control panel plugin that adds the capability to select and operate on text using the Treo 600/650 navigation pad. It also allows the command bar to be opened by holding the menu key. Each of these functions may be enabled individually.
Further options allow users to customize how text selection occurs, as well as whether to toggle these options during run time.

- Select text using your Treo 600/650 navigation pad, either by letter or by word.
