PdaNet for Treo 600 3.01 (for Palm OS)
PdaNet for Treo 600 3.01 (for Palm OS)
Software to drive your Treo smartphone as a Wireless Modem for your PC - PdaNet allows your PC to go online by connecting to your Treo smartphone through the Hotsync USB cable (or Bluetooth if you are using Treo 650). If you own a Treo 650, 600, 300, 270 or 180 with CDMA data plan (Sprint/Verizon) or GPRS/EDGE service (T-Mobile, Cingular, AT&T etc.), PdaNet will make it your wireless Internet Service for your laptop/desktop computer instantly - no extra hardware or setup necessary.
Distributed as a Windows installer.

xblu322: couldn't you just make it freeware? :) soz the price is just the same as buying some hardware that lets you connect to the internet FASTER and EASIER... tnx a lot :)
kamikazekarl: After running the trial application it messed up my hotsync. I had to unistall from my treo reset the windows drivers and reinstall desktop manager, I finally got my hotsync working again. Read the instructions carefully, otherwise during the trial I thought it really had some nice features.
terryoyama: installed the prc version and it didn't work. installed the zip version and it works like a charm. Great product.
ronnie484: Pretty nice app. I called my carrier and I was told since I have an unlimited data plan it's fine to use Pdanet on my treo. I'll seen what happens in the next two weeks, about buying it. But I like it.
atomic18: This app works exactly as it says.
Unfortunately it's no longer realistically priced for the 600. For nearly the same amount of money you could simply pick up a network card for your laptop and not be bothered with installation and starting up the app, etc.
Given that apps for the 600 are rapidly disappearing, it would be nice if this one would at least be competitive in price with hardware that does the same thing - easier.
Again - works wonderfully.
ace1489: Awesome. Internet on my laptop from ANYWHERE. Works great with SprintPCS unlimited internet; $10/month for faster than a 56K modem.
psherman: This is a great application. It works just as advertised. However, a word of caution: Verizon Wireless does not allow users to use their Treo as a connection device for a laptop/pc. My data services were shut-down after my usage pattern was inconsistent with that of a treo user. They have re-instated my wireless sync but I cannot use the pdanet app as I get an error message each time. My sync also stops working for about 30 minutes if I try.
j2191902: its not working with my computer it says some type of error like the usb slot not connected on both sides and how does it work anyway
LuckyDuc: Works very well, but not true shareware... $34 is a bit pricey.
Nerila: ThankyouThankyouThankyou
This is exactly what I needed to go on "vacation"
